About

When Donald Diemer founded Presrite in 1971, he forged a tradition of innovation to respond to the specific forging challenges his customers were facing. Today, our solutions-driven Technical Center and engineering team are innovating forging processes to save machining costs, reduce scrap, and improve cycle times.

Customer-Driven Presrite Forge Innovations Include:
  • Engineered the first double-flange roller: A new forging method that eliminated the need for roller sets to be welded together
  • Perfected the near-net gear process: Previously blank forgings had to be turned, hobbed, and shaved to reach near-net specs
  • Streamlined manufactured parts: Reduced assembly costs by replacing with efficient complete product
