Position Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are operating at their best and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner. You will be performing a variety of tasks, including repairs, installations, and general maintenance work to keep our buildings functioning properly.
Your duties will include:
- Assist in the maintenance of all facilities equipment
- Assist in the troubleshooting of machines for all mechanical,
hydraulic and pneumatic troubles
- With supervision run, install, re-plumb and repair any piping
systems for equipment or facility
- Learn from all senior level maintenance the proper operation,
troubleshooting and repair of all facilities systems and equipment
- Assist all other maintenance and other departments as instructed
with repairs to the equipment or facility
- Document through the CMMS system the completion of all
assigned tasks
- Comply with all company safety policies and rules
- Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor
- Comply with all quality objectives to ensure the highest quality
products
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Minimum 2 years advanced mechanical maintenance experience
- Ability to utilize special testing and inspection equipment. (vacuum gauges, pressure gauges, etc.)
- Ability to read, understand, correct or modify mechanical schematics and prints.
- Ability to assist in the troubleshooting of problems and recommend and/or apply equitable solutions.
- Ability to utilize all basic hand tools and measuring devices
- Ability to follow all safety rules and policies
- Ability to operate a Lift Truck
- Ability to lift a min of 80 pounds safely and correctly
- Ability to express complex thoughts and ideas in an oral or written medium
- Ability to operate and rig overhead cranes and lifts
- Knowledge of Quality Policy
