Position Summary:
The CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator is responsible for safely, accurately, and efficiently setting up and operating and programming department equipment, and working from complex prints and models to obtain accurate specifications in dimensions and tolerances.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive):
• Ability to work safely, accurately, and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Set up, operate, program, and troubleshoot CNC Lathes
• Work from blueprints or sketches
• Knowledge of tool steels
• Able to use all shop measuring equipment
• Ability to make offsets and adjustments to CNC Lathes
• Must be able to operate all shop equipment
• Capable of working from prints and models
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3 years of CNC Lathe experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate Forklift
• Ability to operate Overhead Crane
• Knowledge of cutting tools for feeds and speeds
• Experience with CAD/CAM program preferred
$20.65/hr. - $29.45/hr.
