MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive)
• Manage Apprenticeship programs.
• Define needed skills needed for each maintenance position.
• Develop curriculum and schedule for each respective position.
• Research and vet education providers.
• Assist in enrollment and payment for training.
• Implement individual tracking system to monitor progress.
• Investigate and utilize grant money available.
• Advise and consult on a personal basis with each candidate.
• Coordinate with Plant Management to identify and recruit candidates.
• Develop and implement legal commitment document.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management or a minimum of ten years' experience in an industrial maintenance leadership position
· Experience developing and managing teams performing predictive and preventative maintenance in a heavy manufacturing environment is required
· Experience working with recruiting staff and educational institutions
· Strong communication and influencing skills
· Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment, with high expectations
· Proficient in creating and working with documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Project
· Self-motivated with high attention to detail
· Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
